My favorite twitter hashtag is #TGIO. (Thank God it’s over)
As people go back to work and adapt to the new reality that we have a new president, there is a lot of anticipation and expectations as well as anxiety.
The political candidates carried different messages. “Stronger Together” was perceived as let’s work together and be stronger. “Make America Great” was perceived as let’s become prosperous.
Everyone had a different perception which translated into their reality and influenced their vote.
Your message as a Christian is crucial. -What is it?
I have a bracelet that reads; WWJD
What would Jesus message have been?
His message can be found in 1 John 4:7-12
Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God.
Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.
Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.
This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.
This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete.
If Jesus were one of the candidates, his message would have been;
“Love One Another.”
Is this your message? I have one question for you as a Christian.
How do you show love to others?
One thing that came clear after this election is how divided our nation is.
Your role as a child of God is to preach the message of peace. -The message of Jesus Christ.
Welcome to our Sunday Morning Services at 10:00 am and experience the love of God.
