A message from our new Bishop & his dear wife.
Have you ever had a dream that you knew was from the Spirit of God?
In Acts 2: 17, God declares that ‘in the last days, he will pour out his Spirit on all people; and young men will see visions while older men will dream dreams.’
Has the Lord given you a dream about something in your life? Have you been waiting for your dream to come to pass and you are now getting discouraged or losing faith?
It could be a dream about your ministry and how God wants to use you. Or it could be about your health or your finances. Whatever it is; do you feel you are working against all odds and nothing is happening?
Don’t lose heart.
You belong to the Lord. Whatever he has spoken to you will come to pass. We easily get discouraged because we like to do things our way, -but we need to remember that Gods ways are higher than our ways. His thoughts are greater than our thoughts. His eyes see further than we can ever see or even imagine.
All we need to do is trust Him.
In Habakkuk 2: 2-3 we read:
And the Lord answered me, and said, “Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.”
Verse 3 we read: “For the revelation awaits an appointed time, though it linger, wait for it, It will certainly come and will not delay.”
If God gives you a vision, like he gave Habakkuk, remember to write it down. Look at the writing from time to time; nurture it as you would a young plant. If it delays, keep trusting and working toward accomplishing it.
When God told him to build an ark, the people laughed so hard at him. I figure he was the entertainment at the local bar.
But one day, the rains did come, and there was a great flood, just as the Lord had told Noah.
Like Noah, keep your dream and vision alive, it will come to pass because God is Faithful.
Remember to come to church every Sunday at 10:00 am
