Spring is associated with a new beginning. A fresh start, a new dawn. Spring is the new season and it always has new beginnings, new promises and new expectations. Maybe you are at a point in your life where you are more than ready for something new. Your faith will take you to the next level. Have high expectations and believe in God’s promises.
Do not despair
In your current situation, you should not be miserable. Be happy and thankful for the season, and pray for your new beginning. Take the current status as a training ground for the future state. Like Job; “though your beginning is small, your latter days will be very great.” (Job 8:7)
Keep the hope alive
Is there something you are hoping for? Although your wait for the new beginning may seem long, do not lose your hope and faith. Be persistent and keep pushing toward your dream. As it is written in Matthew 7:7, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.”
Lamentations Chapter 3 vs 22-24 tells us; “the steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”
Believe in God’s promises
Believe in things unseen and the great things that await you in your new season. His promise to Jeremiah in verses 29:11 applies to you today. “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.”
Embrace your new beginning and say goodbye to the old things. Your old situation may be likened to a desert and the new beginning to spring. Spring is a sign of life and freshness. Be ready for your new season and spring forth when the time comes. Embrace your new state wholly. Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert (Isaiah 43:18-19).
Step into your new season with grace and strength and believe in the promise of God that those who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31).
Your spring time is here. Spring forth and embrace it. Let your faith and hope in God carry you through the new season as you believe in His promises and watch as He works in amazing ways to turn your expectations into reality. Ecclesiastes 3:11, tells us ‘God has made everything beautiful in its time.’
